Yampier Sardina Esperon
- From the time I was 5 years old, I discovered my passion for painting and drawing . Since that time art has always been at the core of my being, I always knew I was destined to paint. After receiving a B FA at the Academy of Fine Arts “San Alejandro” in Havana, Cuba, I began perfecting my craft until I decided that growth was not sustainable while I remained in Cuba. At 30 years of age I left my home country to pursue my passion :being a painter.
After having several exhibitions in Cuba, I had my solo exhibition at the Aldama Fine Art gallery in Mexico City in 2009. Since 2010 I established my studio in Florida., United States, where I live with my family.
Art inspiration is always evolving, as an artist draws from their personal experiences. My art, at this moment, tries to highlight the elements of beauty and nature that surrounds me. The landscape has a great expressive character given by the texture and complexity of the shapes. The scenes I paint are a reflection of lived emotions..
My passion for my work seems to never cease. Time passes me by when I’m at my craft, and my appetite for my work is endless. When I’m not physically working I’m mentally working, always looking for fresh ideas and inspiration.
I’ve participated in art festivals in various cities across the United States. There, my work has won various awards and found a place in the spaces of many collectors and art lovers.
